The Aikawa GasMaster Detector is for measuring entrained air or gas in a liquid or liquid/ fiber stream. This is an easy to use instrument for measuring the amount of dissolved air in thin stocks and at the paper machine headbox approach. It can be a useful tool for determining air sources from the paper machine, impacting machine operation and paper breaks, in conjunction with a flow balance. AFT uses this tool for in field gas measurements and warranty trials.
