Inspection and Installation for long-life

For brand new screening equipment, the installation of rotors and cylinders is relatively straightforward.  But for screens that have been operating for long periods of time, there are several important verifications that AFT Service Engineers will take into consideration. These include checking if the screen is clean, how the cylinder housing fit looks, and the condition of the drive shaft and bearings.

AFT Engineers have experience with measuring real fit on over 650 models of screens globally and have service data for accurate fit for all of these units. We are also trained in preventative maintenance procedures – not just evaluating the current installation but documenting measurements to assess wear rates and concerns for the next shutdown, or in the future.
