The POMp Degasser generally runs so trouble-free that preventative maintenance is recommended every 5 years.
Over time, the pumping action of the degasser can cause wear and require replacement of seals. If not addressed, this may lead to increased air in the paper machine water loop, greater frequency of cleaning, and pinholes or sheet breaks.
AFT offers a series of service intervals along a typical POMp Degasser life cycle that include:
· Initial erection
· Start-up and performance check
· System check 1-year from start-up
· 5-year preventative maintenance check
· Troubleshooting or emergency services
At each point in time there is an AFT service engineer ready to support the mill on site or remotely through a video service call.
