New Life for Drilled Filters
An Electronic Beam (EB) drilled cylinder is designed for filtering applications to separate fine fibers from a liquor stream. The cylinder holes can be as small as 0.10 mm in diameter. Over time, these small holes can gradually plug, and a standard water rinse or screen flushing will not be sufficient to clean the cylinder and maintain its capacity.
With years of experience, AFT has developed a thorough cleaning process to reverse the majority of the plugging and return EB drilled cylinders to like-new operation. Benefits of this washing process include restoring plugged Filters to original factory performance levels to avoid expensive replacement costs.
